1. Our Commitment
Digitalx is committed to delivering value on every engagement. We take accountability seriously — if we fall short of agreed deliverables, we fix it. This policy outlines how refund requests are handled fairly and transparently.
2. Setup Fees
Setup fees are non-refundable once onboarding has commenced, as the work is bespoke and costs are incurred immediately.
3. Monthly Service Fees
- ✓Cancellation before service commencement: Full refund issued within 5 business days.
- ✓Cancellation after service commencement: Monthly fee is non-refundable. Services continue to month end.
- ✓Service failure by Digitalx: Pro-rated credit applied to next invoice.
4. Advertising Spend
Third-party advertising spend (Google Ads, Meta Ads) is non-refundable once committed to the platform. Unused budgets held by Digitalx are refunded within 14 days of written request.
5. Software and Hardware
Third-party software licences are subject to the vendor's refund terms. Hardware supplied and installed by Digitalx is non-refundable; defective hardware is replaced under the manufacturer's warranty at no cost.
6. How to Request a Refund
- ✓Email hello@digitalxagency.io with subject "Refund Request — [Your Company Name]"
- ✓Include: company name, invoice number(s), amount and reason
- ✓We acknowledge within 1 business day and decide within 5 business days
- ✓Approved refunds processed within 5 business days via original payment method
7. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or any other applicable consumer protection legislation.
